2007_0326 : Walking Against The Wind

Description

A composition created during a writing exercise for The Artist’s Way workshops, in March of 2007. The assignment, simply, was “to write a lullabye”… not so much to create a pop song, but I’d always wanted to take the triplet pattern vamp from my earlier 1985 demo and develop the idea a little further. The guide vocal mix was just to help me learn it, though it was performed live for the workshop, karaoke-style with the instrumental mix to accompany me and my shaky voice…
