I am really very happy with this piece. AESM really just blossomed from an acid house bassline I was toying with, hoping to lead the track into a really dissonant and edgy direction. The title is really just an acronym for Actual Experience Strengthens Memory. It was a printed design on a portfolio card I created before I began to work full time in design. The phrase stuck around, even though I don’t have any of the cards left.
