I wrote the words to this at noon on July 23 ’82, on a bunk bed at Les Issambres in the south of France, moments after first hearing David Bowie’s Scary Monsters on Radio Monte Carlo, and having found my magical dream about finding true happiness…
It was even more fun putting a drum beat to it later on.
