Let’s face it; I was ambitious in trying to write music without an instrument at hand; this was an early attempt to express feelings towards Kim from the same period as the dreams surrounding You Wouldn’t Believe… This one I sketched out in the passenger seat of a rented Ford as I toured the Avebury monuments in Wiltshire, sometime in August ’79.
There were many men standing about that day, channeling druid energies as they stood scattered about this field, arms outstretched, eyes bugging out and turned skyward. This probably has nothing to do with the song.
